Pre-NDA investor briefing
The investor story
Commerce works because trust exists underneath it. Agents need the same.

Human commerce relies on identity, enforceable rules, dispute evidence, monitoring and reputation. Agentic commerce removes the human from the transaction, but not the need for those protections. Agentic Valence is building an open trust layer so agents from different companies can identify themselves, operate inside delegated authority, pay and prove what happened, and build portable trust without exposing unnecessary personal data.

The thesis: the winning agent economy cannot depend on one platform's private database. It needs interoperable trust services and a neutral, publicly verifiable source of truth.

Castle Island fit: public-chain verifiability, stablecoin/payment adjacency, open protocols, privacy-preserving proofs and infrastructure for a new class of software economic actor.
What humans take for granted

The invisible trust layer behind commerce

  • Counterparties can ultimately be identified and held accountable.
  • Rules, payment networks, courts, chargebacks and dispute processes constrain bad behavior.
  • Reviews and reputation create consequences that follow market participants.
What agents still need

The same questions, at machine speed

  • Who is this agent and is there an accountable principal behind it?
  • May it take this action or move this amount of value?
  • Did it pay or deliver, and can either side prove it later?
  • How has it behaved without creating a permanent personal profile?
Why the architecture is different

Five design choices, not one point feature

Complete trust loopIdentity, mandates, payment proof, monitoring, security and reputation are designed to work together.
Open protocolsMultiple providers can compete and interoperate instead of forcing every agent into one closed platform.
Neutral shared stateSkyrmion anchors roots, proofs, registries and aggregates instead of relying on one company's private database.
Privacy by designAgents prove facts such as eligibility or payment without publishing unnecessary personal data onchain.
Re-checkable evidenceMandate stamps, payment proofs and reputation commitments can remain independently verifiable after the transaction.

Why this fits Castle Island

Agentic commerce creates a new trust-and-payments infrastructure problem

Castle Island describes its focus as public-blockchain infrastructure and applications, with investments spanning payments/stablecoins, financial-market infrastructure, cybersecurity and ZK/L2 infrastructure. Wyatt focuses on companies building and expanding the onchain economy.

Agentic Valence thesis: as software becomes able to hold credentials, invoke tools, negotiate and move value, the market needs a neutral way to prove identity, delegated authority, runtime safety and transaction evidence across counterparties.
Investor adjacency
Direct

The wedge sits where AI-agent control meets machine-native payments: authority, security, transaction proof and public-chain settlement infrastructure.

Wyatt has also contributed to Castle Island research on stablecoin payments, making the machine-payments angle especially relevant.
Public blockchains

Verifiable shared state

Skyrmion is designed to anchor proofs, commitments, registries and stakes without becoming a per-user data store.

Payments

Machine-authorized value movement

Mandate + Gluon + payment proofs connect delegated authority to agent negotiation and transaction evidence.

Security

Trust after authentication

Eigen Monitor and Graviton Security add continuous behavior and runtime controls around autonomous actions.

Founding team

Technical depth + company-building + execution

The team combines enterprise AI architecture, startup/product building, blockchain/ZK direction, and hands-on ML engineering. This is the team Wyatt would be underwriting—not just the protocols.

Why this matters to Castle Island: the team is not approaching agentic commerce as a crypto-only concept. It combines applied enterprise AI, security/agent architecture, blockchain/ZK, and product execution—important for building infrastructure that must work across both AI and financial systems.
How trust moves

People use agents; agents use open trust services; Skyrmion anchors the evidence

Negotiation and most service activity stay offchain. Trust providers publish only the roots, proofs and aggregates needed for independent verification. The shared layer can settle to Ethereum while personal records remain offchain.

1
IdentifyPrivate identity and attribute proofs through the Identity Protocol.
2
AuthorizeAn independent mandate enforcer checks the principal's rules before value moves.
3
Watch & protectWatchers and Guardians monitor anomalous behavior and unsafe execution.
4
Transact & prove paymentAgents negotiate; payment can be accompanied by a private z402 proof.
5
Reputation & dispute evidencePortable trust signals and re-checkable proofs survive beyond one platform.
Key separation: Skyrmion is not a user database. It is designed to hold shared verification state—roots, proofs, registries, stakes and aggregates—while sensitive records remain with issuers and service providers.
Example A

Attest once, prove later

A user verifies a fact once with an attestation provider. Later the user's agent can prove a derived fact—such as “age ≥ 21”—without revealing the underlying date of birth. The counterparty verifies the proof against the shared root.

Example B

Mandate before money moves

An investing or purchasing agent requests a transaction. The payment/custody service asks an independent mandate enforcer for approval. If the request is outside the user's limits, the action is refused; approvals/refusals can leave re-checkable evidence.

Intent Book entry gate

Private qualification, objective acceptance

1
Post conditionsBuyer or seller publishes fixed entry requirements.
2
Build proofThe responding agent proves privately that it meets the conditions.
3
Check gateThe host calls the onchain entry gate against pinned roots.
4
Accept / rejectThe gate returns an objective result and identifies a failing clause if needed.
5
Prevent replayA nullifier prevents the same proof from being reused.

Interactive trust architecture

Seven open protocols, independent businesses, one trust layer

Click any box to see why it exists, who uses it, and how it can become a standalone business.

Product naming: the open protocols are implemented through the existing physics-inspired product family: Isospin ID, Eigen Monitor, Graviton Security, Mandate, Gluon Commerce, and Skyrmion Network. Multiple protocols can live inside one product business—for example, Gluon Commerce covers both intent/market coordination and reputation, while Skyrmion Network covers the ZK trust layer and payment-proof anchoring.

Customer use cases

Where the trust layer becomes commercially useful

Examples below illustrate the product logic; they are not claims of current customer deployment.

Identity + privacy

Age-restricted purchase

An agent proves the buyer satisfies an age threshold without revealing a date of birth or permanent identity profile.

Mandate + watcher

Delegated investing / purchasing

A principal sets hard limits. The enforcer blocks actions outside those limits, while monitoring detects abnormal behavior.

z402

Private payment proof

An agent proves that a qualifying payment occurred for a specific order without exposing more payer information than the counterparty needs.

Identity + mandate

Merchant compliance

A merchant accepts autonomous orders only after verifying both the agent's authority and any relevant buyer/transaction attributes.

Intent Book

Merchants compete for user intent

A buyer agent publishes a structured need; qualified merchant agents compete directly, reducing dependence on a single marketplace intermediary.

Guardian + reputation

Cross-platform safety and trust

Tool providers detect repeated malicious agent behavior while merchants and buyers carry portable reputation signals across platforms.

12-month execution roadmap

Three concrete phases inside the $2M primary plan

The latest product plan makes the sequencing more specific. The current financing strategy remains the $2M primary raise for approximately 12 months.

Phase 1 — Foundation
Now → Jan 2027
Specifications, IP, identity + monitoring
  • Freeze core Identity, Mandate, Watcher and trust-layer specifications.
  • Advance initial IP/patent filings around priority trust mechanisms.
  • Launch initial Skyrmion environment with first user agent, issuer/attestation provider and watcher path.
  • Complete a security baseline review of circuits and key management.
Outcome: agents can be registered, privately attested and monitored against shared verification state.
Phase 2 — Mandates + payments
Feb → Jun 2027
Build → design-partner test → go-live
  • Build payment rails and independent mandate enforcement.
  • Open a test environment with design partners.
  • Go live with user-set limits and re-verifiable approval/refusal stamps.
  • Start monetization tests around identity verification and mandate enforcement.
  • Security review of the payment + mandate path.
Outcome: agents can move value inside machine-enforceable rules rather than relying only on model behavior.
Phase 3 — Private payment proof
Jul → Nov 2027
z402 + integrated demonstration
  • Build and test private payment proofs alongside ordinary payment rails.
  • Validate with design partners and move the strongest flow live.
  • Expand monetization experiments to proof/verification fees.
  • Harden security and deliver an integrated identity + mandate + private-payment demonstration.
Outcome: a live core trust loop for identity, bounded authority and privately provable payments.
After the core 12-month plan: expand the Intent Book as a discovery/market layer and the Guardian protocol as a broader AI-security business, based on product validation and available capital.
